Basic Phone Application User Guide
Settings within the application:
Before start of a meeting upper left choices of settings, terms, privacy, help link (connects to help and contact us page of videocec.com)
1. Within Settings:
Profile > Display Name to be used for the meeting
> Email to be used for sending invites, receiving invites
Conference > Server URL - populated company server
> Start with audio muted - for preventing audio to interfere when connected in a meeting room, can be turned on in
the meeting room
> Start with video muted - for preventing video to interfere when connected in a meeting room, can be turned on in
the meeting room
Build information > version of the application build
Advanced > Disable native call integration (preferred to be off)
> Disable peer to peer mode (preferred to be off)
2. Within the main page:
Top right call using video or voice options
Enter room name (user can create any room they created for the particular meeting) this is the host who creates the room name, all subsequent fellow attendees can use the same name or respond to the link sent from within the room by the host.
Below this you see historical rooms that the user has connected to recently.
2. Within the meeting
Top > Meeting room name
Main page > Attendees video and status bars of quality of meeting, and meeting attendees video, audio, with profiles. There is a choice of full screen or tile view of the attendees
Bottom > Active participant/attendee info
> Invite others through any other native phone application
> From left to right - chat via text, audio status, call status/hangup
button, video status, other settings
> Other settings - self explanatory, Start live stream and start showing subtitles inactive at this time, will be
activated in updated versions based on consumer need
